Travel competence field

Since the 6th November 2006 special regulations regarding carrying fluids and such products in hand baggage on all departure and transfer flights in the EU, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland have now been introduced for security reasons. These products must npw be transported in a transparent, resealable (zip) bag with a maximum of 1 litre fluid capacity.

The individual containers are not allowed to exceed 100 ml of contents. The bag must be presented seperately during the hand luggage security control. Medication and  special food or food for children may also be taken on board outside of the bag. However it is recommended that you carry a doctor's certificate. (An english translation would be ideal). Goods which are purchased in the duty-free shop may be taken on board if bought at EU airports or on inter-European flights, if the packaging is sealed and the invoice with the same date is provided.
